Talan parked his old run down truck on the side of the road and climbed out, dressed in black Under Armor shorts and a white-beater with some tennis-shoes on. He looked around, the fields were all completely empty, of course! He didn't bring any gear or anything, so he decided to just run around the field a couple of times, get some good exercise and sun time in.

((I'm going to reply, hope you don't mind xD))
Eliza had decided that she would spend the day doing some exercise. Upon learning that there were some sports fields, she thought that it would be a good place to run... Only God knew how much she needed a good run. She got out of her house, her hair tied up in a ponytail, dressed in black capris and a black tank top, with her iPod strapped to her shoulder.
Upon reaching the fields, she found that someone else was there, a boy actually, a couple of years young than her, probably doing some laps. Dismissing him, not wanting to bother him during his exercise, she put on her phones and walked to the fields, starting her own exercises.

((of course not!!!))
Talan continued running his laps, but he had eyed a not-so-familiar girl also running around the field, he sighed. She's probably a small town girl, just like all the rest... Boring. He thought to himself. There wasn't too much variety in a small town!

Eliza kept running, focusing on the beat of the music she was hearing. Not country, she had her fair share of country at the bar, no, she was listening to some rock classics. Eventually, she caught up with the boy. She ran side by side with him for a few moments before she decided to intruduce herself. It was the only polite thing to do right. Taking out her phones, without loosing her pace, she turned to him "Hi! I'm Eliza, new here!

Talan turned to see the girl, keeping his pace steady, turning a corner and starting the stretch down the long length of the field. Talan. He said with a nod of his head, turning his head back forward and looking at her through the corner of his eye. She would be new here. He thought to himself, and not in a bad way. He liked variety. Eliza nodded and putted her phones back. Well, the good thing was that the boy, Talan, didn't want to talk. Perfect! She sped up a little upon reaching the long lenght of the field, and left him behind. What? She had introduced herself, had been polite, but she wasn't going to make small talk... Besides, she was there to run, not to chat.

Talan watched her, Whoah, attitude. He thought to himself, she must not be from around here... Locals didn't know what attitude was. He ran faster and met up with her, with his head turned, he watched her run as he did.

He was watching her. Why was he watching her? It was making her nervous. Well, she didn't like when people stared at her, it made her feel... well, uncomfortable. Once again, she pulled the phones out and looked at him "May I help you with anything?"

Talan laughed a little, well, maybe he shouldn't have looked at her so much... But now he had to say something. You're not from around here, are you? He asked, she seemed to be mysterious, and in quite a sexy way. [/blockquote]

"You could tell hu?" She asked as she sighed "No, actually, I just moved in from New York" she told him, waiting to see his reaction. It would be lovely. Well, if he reacted like the other people.

Talan nodded. Damn, New York. That's a heck of a city girl. He thought to himself with a little smirk in his mind. Yeah, I figured. He said with a smile before he looked back forward and picked up his pace a little bit before turning back to Eliza for her response. [/blockquote]

"You figured I was from New York?" she asked incredulosly. Determined not to be surpassed by him, Eliza picked up her pace too, running along with him once again.

Talan shrugged. Well, maybe not from New York in particular, but you definitely seem like a big city kind of girl. He said with a wink. City girls brought out a different side of him, he seemed to be more confident, relaxed, and able to have more fun.

"Oh really?" Eliza asked, sarcasm dripping from every word, with a slight smirk on her lips "What makes you say that?" She wasn't normally like this, but Talan seemed easy to talk to.

Talan shook his head. Just looking at you, you're not boring and simple. He said with a smirk. He ran into the center of the field and stretched out a little bit, watching her and waiting for her answer. [/blockquote]

Eliza laughed. In fact, she had to stop to laught "Oh I'm pretty boring, trust me. I never do any interesting things", she said after catching her breath. She walked up to him, and sat down, near the place were he was "you think all small town girl are boring? If you lived in New York you would think all the New York girls were boring"

Nah, I don't think all small town girls are boring. He said with a smirk. But there is no way that I believe that you never do any interesting things either. He said as he grabbed his water bottle and took a small drink before setting it back down and looking at Eliza again. [/blockquote]

"I'm telling you, I must be one of the most boring persons in the whole wide world" Eliza said, with a sigh "Apart from the travels I make, there's nothing else of interest to my life" She added with a smile. To be honest, she was not into the whole deal of the city life. She had never been used to parties and such, even though she had worked in a bar.

Talan shook his head. Say what you want, but I don't believe you. You don't look like the kind of girl who just sits at home, alone, and has nothing to do on a weekend. He said as he stretched out his legs and took another drink of water. [/blockquote]

"Trust me, that's me. Well, the weekend part is not always right, but other than that, it's me" she said laughing "What can I do to prove it to you?"
