Caity walked into the Grizzly Rose, which was, so far, the only bar in town. She was dressed in a light weight white summer dress that had a pale print of small flowers every now and then with her favorite cowboy boots on. She looked around, there were a few people, but not too many. She walked over to the area around the bar, wanting to just check out the characters that were here before she hoped in to have some fun. There was country music booming in every inch of this place, and she quite enjoyed it. The music and the atmosphere kind of let her slip back to the bigger town life, the one that was always crawling with characters and activity. But, she was happy she was in a smaller town now. She looked around, the guys weren't too bad, but nothing to swoon other either. There were two groups of about four girls that were bumping and grinding all over each other, hoplessly waiting for the guys to come ask them to dance, Caity rolled her eyes, Dear goodness, some things never change! She thought to herself with a shake of her head and feeling a little bit sorry for the girls and the desperate show they were putting on.

Brian pulled up again. This would be his second night in a row at the bar but he didn't think it would be too big of a deal. Plus the bartender was a great girl to talk to. He liked her, big city girl and all. She seemed more like his type. He parked the car and put the keys in his front right pocket with the landyerd sticking out. He strutted into the Grizzly Rose. Just like last night there was loud booming country music and a bunch of different looking people. The group of girls that had been there the night before were there again. That made him feel a little better. At least he wasn't the only one that came night after night. But at least he had a reason. He walked up and suddenly noticed the girl from the kennels. He quickly looked away and avoided eye contact, just like he had done before. He went straight to where he sat yesterday and waited for Eliza, wondering if she was even working tonight. He sat there with one of his elbows leaning on the counter and he faced the crowd. He noticed some girls trying to get some attention from the boys. He rolled his eyes a little then glanced at the girl. Crap... what was her name? He started tracing his memory. Caity! He suddenly remembered. He stopped glancing and looked back at the dancing people. Waiting for one of the girls to come to him. [/size]

Caity watched Brian walk through the doors of the Grizzly Rose and sit down at the bar, avoiding eye contact? Or he didn't see her? Who knew. He was doing the same thing at the kennel... Whatever. She turned around and decided that she wanted a water, she walked up to the bar and leaned on it, looking for a bartender, glancing at Brian every once in a while. [/blockquote]

"Yeah, I miss you guys too" Eliza almost had to yell to her cellphone in order to be heard by her friend. Whoa, the place seemed to have changed completely in the space of a day. It was crowded. According to her, twice the people were dancing. Glancing to the bar, she saw that there were people waiting to be served. Mentally kicking herself for picking up the phone while at work, she yelled a quick goodbye to her friend. She walked to the bar, this time looking less like a big city girl. Her dark blue skinny jeans were tucked inside a pair of cowboy boots and she was wearing a light shirt. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail and the only trace of makeup was the red lipstick, her trademark.
She spotted some familiar faces at the bar, Caity and Brian. She almost laughed, it was the second night in a row that Brian was there. Caity seemed to be looking for her, so she turned her attention towards her "Hi Caity! What can I get you?"

Caity smiled at Eliza's familiar face. Oh hey!!! She said with excitement in her eyes. I would love to have a drink... but... I'm not 21 for like three more months... So I guess, just a bottle of water? She asked with some pathetic-ness in her voice. She hated not being 21. [/blockquote]

When Brian had noticed that Eliza knew Caity he grew angry. He glanced constantly at the two girls. Why did Caity have to be there the same night he was. And not 21? Why would she even come if she's not 21? He rolled his eyes at the thought and continued to wait at the bar. He didn't want another drink, he just wanted to see Eliza. He liked her but tried his best to hide it, even though he might fail at it anyways. He continued to glance, not saying one word. Then he looked back at the dance floor. The song was a fast one and the whole group of people were doing the line dance. He refused to get up and join them, no matter how much he wanted to get away right now. But he waited anyways. [/size]

Caity moved a little tiny bit to the song as she waited for Eliza to bring a water she eyed Brian out of the corner of her eye. She shook her head and then turned around, her back to the bar and her elbows resting on the counter, she watched a few people dancing and wished that she hadn't come to the club alone. [/blockquote]

"Here" Eliza said, placing a drink in front of Caity "It's not what you ordered, but it's virgin, and it sure beats the crap out of water" She explained "On the house" She noticed Brian's weird behaviour and she glanced at him. Could it be that he had something against Caity? She couldn't see what could someone possibly have against Caity, she was likable.
"Do you need anything Brian?" she asked him, turning her attention to him

Caity turned around as Eliza spoke and smiled thankfully taking the drink. Well, thanks, Eliza! She said taking a sip of the drink, it was good, but probably would be better with alcohol. She couldn't wait until she was finally 21. She sat down on a stool and watched Eliza interact with Brian out of the corner of her eye. [/blockquote]

Brian turned back around and faced the bar. He listened in on how Caity was given virgin. It was strange he never pictured Caity as a drinker, although she was young anyways. He chuckled and shook his head but made sure no one noticed him. When Eliza came over he smiled at her. He was happy she was working again. But he had made a promise to himself that he wouldn't come for a week after this visit. He didn't want Eliza thinking he was stalking her or something, because he wasn't. He just enjoyed seeing her. Do you have any Mohito's?He asked with a grin on his face. He wasn't feeling too into the alcohol today. Light was all he needed. [/size]

"Cutting on the alchohol are we?" she asked as she prepared his drink. A smirk appeared in her face as she was doing it "So, two nights in a row huh? Is your life that boring?" she asked as she placed glass infront of him

Caity took a few more sips of her drink and listened to Eliza and Brian's conversation, What am I doing? Eavesdropping is extremely rude! She thought to herself, she shook her head and snapped out of it. She turned the stool and looked to the dance floor. [/blockquote]

Brian chuckled a little bit. He didn't think his life was boring. But it was a small town, there wasn't a crazy amount of stuff to do anyways, especially at night. But the main reason he had come was of course to see Eliza. But he would never let her know that. Not yes at least. He looked at the dance floor, remembering the night before, then turned back. Well I don't like to think so. He said with a grin across his face. He tapped his fingernails on the table and glanced over at Caity once again, but quickly looked away, avoiding the chance that she'd catch him. He wasn't trying to make her jealous or anything, definitely not. But it was just strange. He didn't know what it was. He watched Eliza make the drink. [/size]

She placed his drink infront of him and glanced over to Caity. She lowered her voice so that she couldn't hear them "What's the deal with Caity?" she asked with a grin.

Brian thanked Eliza for the drink and he took a sip right away. He put it back down on the counter and listened to Eliza. He shrugged a little, not quite understanding her question. Don't ask me. He said quietly and he too glanced over at Caity and quickly looked back. He shrugged at Eliza again and took another sip of the Mohito. [/size]

"Honest? Cause you seem to be mad at her for some reason" she asked with a shrug. "You haven't stop glancing at her since she you got here

Caity sighed and took another drink and looked over at Eliza with a smile and turned back to the dance floor. Eliza was really nice to her, Brian, on the other hand... Well, maybe that was just Brian. Caity tried to shrug off the thought, but she couldn't seem to get it off her mind. She wanted to know what was so wrong with her that he couldn't stand looking at her, or really talk to her. It's like Edward and Bella when they first met. She thought, thinking of Twilight, a book that she had read recently. I hope he's not a vampire. She thought to herself with a laugh, completely joking. Vampires don't exist! [/blockquote]

Brian shrugged again. He leaned forward into the bar, closer to Eliza so he was positive that Caity wouldn't hear. I don't know what it is. She's really nice but whenever I'm around her she kinda seems like... i don't know. He stopped and leaned back away from the bar. He took a sip of his Mohito, almost finishing it. My sister has been on me for not talking to her. He gave an uncomfortable look and refused to glance at her again. He didn't want to give Eliza the message that he liked her because in honest opinion, he didn't like her. He shrugged again and took a final sip of his drink. [/size]

Eliza smiled "Well, I think you should dance with her" she said with a devious grin in her face. Caity was such a sweet girl, se couldn't understand why he didn't like her. Not to mention that she wanted to do something for Brian, even if it was against his will. "After all..." she said before raising her voice and turning to Caity "Caity, did you come alone?"

Caity was a little surprised by Eliza's question. She looked down to her drink, not really wanting to answer the question. She looked up to Caity and gave a weak smile. Unfortunately. She said before looking back down to her drink and taking the last sip. She looked to Brian quickly and then looked to Eliza. Please, God, don't try to get me to dance with anyone. She thought to herself as she looked to Eliza to see where she was going with this conversation. [/blockquote]
