Demo walked into the small cafe and looked around. Completely empty, maybe they weren't open. He took a tug on his black t-shirt and pulled it down to his blue jeans and shook his head, shaking around his hair, letting it be loose and just fall into place.
"Hello?" He yelled to the back of the cafe. No answer. But, the door was unlocked and he was just going to sit there and write. He was causing no harm. He chose a big arm chair that was facing away from the windows that looked out onto the street. He sat down in it and took a deep breath. He could really go for some coffee right now. Good thing he was in a deserted cafe. To get his mind off of coffee, he thought about why he had moved here with Russ, not really sure of the answer, his mind drifted to his brother, he loved him, but he was just too much to handle sometimes. Russ is why he needed to come here, just get out of the house, and be able to breath. Besides, Russ wasn't very keen on cafe's.

M E G A N
Megan had been lost in the pages of a book when the urge for something to eat began to make her crave. She got up from her resting chair and called for Brian who didn't seem to be in the house at the time. He was probably out with Eliza... again. She rolled her eyes and sighed then grabbed her book and her keys. She left the house and got into her small acura. She drove to the cafe, one place she actually hadn't tried out since she moved here. She parked in an empty parking lot right next to the the entrance of the place. To her surprise the place looked completely abandoned and she was tempted to turn right back around and stop somewhere else. But instead she grabbed her book and walked inside.
She noticed the boy sitting near the window. She had never seen him before and figured that maybe he was new in town. She didn't question and went straight to the counter. She had nicely fitted jeans from American Eagle on along with some pink flip flops. She wore a tank top and her wavy dirty blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail. She leaned against the countertop and tried to find somebody that was maybe working. It was a really small town so there was probably only one person working anyways. She was patient and while still at the counter she opened her book to the bookmarked page and began to read again. She cleared her throat and her lips moved to the words of the page. There was quiet country music playing in the background which never bothered her and the atmosphere was quiet, though a bit awkward.

By this time, Demo had been writing a new song in his notebook as he heard the soft ring of the bell chime from above the door to the cafe. He looked up from his notebook and watched a girl walk to the counter and patiently wait there for someone to take her order. He looked back down to his notebook and continued writing, he was working in the moment.
A few minutes later, he had looked back up and the girl was still standing there and no one had helped her yet. He sighed and spoke softly and smoothly, as he looked back down to his notebook. Not wanting to make eye contact.
"Good luck getting served, I'm not sure anyone is here." He said with a weak smile as he crossed out one of his poorly written phrases and scratched his head, thinking of a way to re-write it.
"I've been here for at least ten minutes, and no one has come out." He said, partly to himself, partly to the girl, then he realized he wasn't sure why he was still here. Could this be considered breaking and entering?

"A sigh escaped from Keith. Lisa didn't see what was happening with Andi, because she was too busy organizing the other extras. Keith set his notes on his chair." Megan wasn't even half way done with the page when the voice of the boy that had been sitting there spoke. She wasn't sure exactly if he was talking to her or himself. She didn't say a word and just listened. She put her bookmark back on her page and looked behind the counter again. He was right. No one was here. She shrugged a little, not sure if he would invite her to sit with him or not. That was ridiculous that no one was working. They were probably sleeping in the back or something. But either way she was too obsessed with her book to care. Ok. She said, her voice quiet like his had been. Thank you. She said and had the urge to start up a conversation with him. She hadn't seen his face yet and wasn't sure what he looked like or if he was new in town or not. She moved from the counter to a nearby chair, sitting slightly away from the boy. She opened her book but didn't begin to read. Instead she looked at him and tried to see what he looked like. Are you new in town? She asked, her voice not shy but interested instead.

Demo felt her move from the counter to a chair close to him he sighed with frustration that he was blocked and scratched out his last sentence. He looked up slowly to the girl and nodded.
"Yeah, just moved here yesterday." He said with a sigh, shutting his journal. He tried to peer at the book she had in her hand, searching for the title, trying to see if he had read that book before. He thought he heard some movement from the back of the cafe, and got a little excited, thinking he would be able to get some coffee or something, but nothing was there. At least none that he could see, and he didn't hear anything else. He leaned back in the chair and rested the notebook between his thigh and the arm of the chair. He obviously had never seen this girl before, because the only person he knew in town was his brother.

Her book was still open across her lap and Megan was curious on what the boy was doing with the notebook. Maybe he was a writer! When she heard he had just moved here her interest arose and she suddenly wanted to get to know him more. She was always interested in meeting people from other parts of the country and it also gave her the urge to show them around the town a bit more since she knew the town so well. But... it wasn't the hard to get to know either. She had only lived here for about two months and she already knew almost everything about the town. She eyed the notebook but didn't bother asking about it. Where'd you move from? She asked curiously and looked behind the counter again, checking if anyone happened to come up yet, not that it mattered.

Demo sighed, still trying to think of why he was blocked, and thinking of what he could do to get un-blocked. He rarely had to cross out what he had written and couldn't come up with anything else. He eyed his notebook, a little frustrated with it, as she asked her question he looked back up to the girl, putting a nice, soft expression on his face and spoke.
"From Lincoln, Nebraska. One small town to another." He said, still in a soft voice. Girls very rarely had an interest in him, because he was typically with his brother, and they were just more attracted to him. He wondered if she was a native to this small town, but didn't ask.

It was the first time she had seen his face since she had been there. She couldn't help but smile. He was very attractive. She listened to what he had to say and things with the conversation couldn't get any better. She giggled a little and crossed one leg over the other. So you're a small-town boy. She said, thinking she was probably wrong. But it didn't matter. People thought she was a dork sometimes anyways. Might as well start with the first introductions right? It was then when she realized she didn't even know his name. But it didn't matter. If they got deep in conversation then she would ask but right now it was all just some small talk. Why'd you move? She asked, hoping she wasn't getting involved with his personal life. If she did she didn't mean to but curiosity caught the best of her.

Demo shrugged and sat up, leaning away from the back of the chair. "Yeah, I guess you could say that, you know, just living in Lincoln my whole life. Not a whole lot of variety, just one starbucks, but I guess that's already a step up from here." He said with a light, joking, humorous tone.
He thought about it, and wasn't really sure why he had moved here. "I don't really know, I guess I was ready to get out of Lincoln, never been in a big town, like the small town, and just came here." He said with a shrug. Knowing that Russ hated small towns, and for the first time wondering why Russ didn't put up a fight to move to at least a bigger town than this.

Megan sat up straighter and listened to what he had to say. A small town to a small town sounded like no fun to her. There didn't seem to be a change between them. So why move in the first place? She questioned her own thoughts and decided to just rub off the confusion in her mind. So he has a brother. She spoke, connecting it to herself. Her brother Brian was somewhat of a jerk but they were like friends and inseperable. But ever since they had moved here things hadn't seemed the same. He already had a girlfriend so all his time was spent around her. Typical boy but lucky girl. Megan wasn't jealous, it was just the fact that she barely saw her brother anymore. She was too busy working anyways. It didn't matter too much. Afterall he was just a brother. So I take it you're not too interested in big towns. She said with a slight grin. She had completely forgotten about the cafe and how there was no one here to serve them. But it didn't matter.

"You could say that." He said with a nod. He hadn't been around anything but small towns, and he had nothing to complain about. He didn't mind them at all, and thought they were nice and pleasant, and you could actually have some time to yourself and some time to relax.
"What about you?" He asked curiously, thinking about how he hadn't been asking her any questions and felt bad about making the conversation just about him, even though he really didn't mean to.

She nodded as he replied to her question. Some people were just like that. Some people liked small towns and some people didn't. You couldn't blame anyone on that. She perked up a little bit at his question to her and she smiled. She couldn't express how much she loved small towns. It's amazing to me! She said with a lot more emotion in her voice. You get to know everyone and you get to know all that's going on around the town and get together with everyone. And when it's your birthday everyone knows about it. It's like a family here. She said. When she stopped she realized how much she had just spoke with her hyper tone. But she couldn't help herself. It was the truth,
