Amelia pulled up to lake in her Escalade that her parents had bought for her as a gift when she was in the hospital, she cut the engine and jumped out of the car. She was in a white denim mini skirt and a bathing suit top, ready to sun bathe or go for a swim.
She looked around, and there were a few people on the lake, but they were all keeping to themselves and just fishing or floating on a raft. She took a big breath and walked down towards the shore. She laid down, her feet in the water, and the sun hitting her body, and shining bright in her eyes. She slowly closed her eyes, and began to sing.
Sunny days seem to hurt the most Wear the pain like a heavy coat I feel you everywhere I go I see your smile, I see your face I hear you laughing in the rain Still can't believe you're gone
It ain't fair you died too young Like a story that had just begun Then death tore the pages all away God knows how I miss you All the hell that I've been through Just knowing no one could take your place Sometimes I wonder who you'd be today
Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams? Settle down with a family? I wonder, what would you name your babies? Some days the sky's so blue I feel like I can talk to you And I know it might sound crazy
It ain't fair you died to young Like a story that had just begun Then death tore the pages all away God knows how I miss you All the hell that I've been through Just knowing no one could take your place Sometimes I wonder who you'd be today
Today, today, today Today, today, today
Sunny days seem to hurt the most I wear the pain like a heavy coat The only thing that gives me hope Is I know I'll see you again someday
Someday, Someday
Mia wiped the tears from her cheeks that had sneeked their way out of her eyes while she was singing. She took a deep breath, deciding that she didn't need to start out her new life crying about something that she would never be able to un-do, or to forget. She stood up slowly and slipped off her white mini skirt, which revealed matching bikini bottoms to her top. She took a deep breath and looked around for something to jump off of. There was a small cliff not too far from where she was. She began to walk over and slipped a few times, scraping her knee as she was climbing up the rough rock.
When she reached the top she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and formed into diving position, diving into the water perfectly, breaking the surface gracefully, and sinking down deeper and deeper into the water. She breathed all the air that she had left in her lungs out and eventually came back up and broke the surface again, this time not so gracefully. She took in a deep breath and floated on her back, thinking of everything that had happened in the past 4 months.
It took all of her might and self control not to cry again, but somehow she managed to not let go of one single tear. [/blockquote]
