Talan nodded. Sorry for bothering you. He said, adjusting his hat on his head and taking a deep breath. He still didn't know why he had come out here, why he just seemed to have to tell Megan, why he needed her advice, why anything! He felt bad that he had distracted her for no reason at all and he was just being dumb. Well, he was just, worrying a lot. [/blockquote]

Megan sighed a little bit, feeling that she wasn't helping him enough as she was supposed to. But what else was there to say? He was sort of fretting over not a big deal. Didn't he just meet her two days ago? It wouldn't be that difficult to break up with someone after only two days. Unless, you loved them back. But she knew that wasn't the case. He just had to believe in himself now. But she didn't know how he would do that. She grinned. Talan, how bout we go ride again? She asked, thinking maybe if he just got his mind off of it for a little while he would come back refreshed on the subject.

A smile spread across Talan's lips. Are you going to make fun of me this time? He asked a little pathetically. True, he wasn't very good on the horse, but he was good with them. He liked the idea of going for another ride with Megan. He needed to get his mind off of Leah, off of the situation. He was just done with it. Yeah, I guess a ride sounds good. He said with a small smirk.

Megan giggled after his question and nodded at the same time. Yes I probably will! She said, giving him the honest truth. She opened the door for him and waited for him to go out first. She thought of someone she could ride. There were too many options. She'd see who he wanted to ride first and maybe just grab a horse from the same pen.

Talan walked out the door and turned to wait for Megan. Who you ridin'? He asked her, not quite sure who he wanted to ride. Maybe he should ride an old fat one, because apparently, that was all he could handle. He scraped his boots along the floor as he waited for her answer. He looked up to her and watched her hair shine in the light. You have pretty hair. He thought, wow, he was being an oober creeper.

Megan laughed a little due to her recent thoughts of letting him decide first. She jogged through the barn (in her mind) and thought of the horses she had already worked with the she decided that Benelli could use some exercise. He was a great horse and an amazing jumper and he needed to stay fit anyways. Benelli I think. She said as she walked towards where all the halters were. She grabbed Benelli's halter and waited for Talan's choice on who he would ride.

Talan nodded. Nice choice, nice choice. He said while stroking his imaginary beard in thought. I have no idea who to ride. Got any fat, slow ones? Because judging from our last trail ride, I'm pretty sure you think that's all I can handle. You know, with the whole jump thing. He said with a lightly sarcastic tone. But really, I have no idea, I don't know how any of 'em ride, I just clean up their crap. He said with a hint of laughter. The truth was, he loved his job, and he didn't mean to make it seem like he was complaining, so hopefully it didn't come off that way. [/blockquote]

She listened to what Talan had to say and couldn't help but laugh out hysterically. She shoved his shoulder and then stopped laughing and looked back at all the halters. A lesson horse would probably be good for him. She grinned and grabbed Liberty's halter. She shoved it into Talan and began to walk out to the paddocks. She didn't bother telling him that Liberty was a handful and loved to jump. He'd figure that out himself.

Talan followed Megan and took the halter from her. What, a fat, slow pony? He asked sarcastically as he half walked, half skipped out to the pens. He looked back at her with a grin on his face. You coming snail? He said as he was still walking backwards and almost tripped over one of the wheel barrows. He laughed it off and jumped back up onto his feet and scooted away from the wheel barrow, waiting for what Megan would say to him now. [/blockquote]

Megan threw the halter and lead rope around her shoulder. Benelli's pen was actually right next to Liberty's so it would be easy and they wouldn't have to seperate and get lost from each other. She pointed to Liberty, not bother to reply to his sudden almost-trip and his crazy attitude. Liberty's the one in the shelter. The dark brown one. She said as she opened the gate to Benelli's pen. Benelli nickered and walked up to Megan. She patted him on his neck as she threw the lead rope over his withers. She placed the halter over his nose and latched it.
