Alright... He said as he started down the small, slight hill that lead down to the barn. So what about you? I guess you kind of seem like you would have a boyfriend... He said, trying to even out the conversation a little bit. [/blockquote]

Megan began to laugh. I wish. She thought to herself with much sarcasm. She slowed Dreamer down a little as they headed down the hill and she leaned backwards as to balance the horse out and herself. She looked back at Talan, still with a sarcastic smile on her face. Are you kidding? No boy would be put up with me working all the time. She said and the smile disappeared. She looked back at the barn which was only a few yards away.

Talan shook his head in disagreement with Megan. No way, that's not true. Any guy would be lucky to be given the chance to, in your words, "put up" with you. He said with a smile, with truthfulness behind every word that he spoke.

Megan grinned and looked back at him again. Another sarcastic face. She didn't say anything back to him. Instead she halted Dreamer and dismounted. She rolled the stirrups up and waited for Talan.

Talan pulled up not too far behind Megan and dismounted, pulled up her stirrups and then looked to Megan with a little smirk on his face. What? He asked, directed to why she had stopped and waited for him. [/blockquote]

Megan laughed. She didn't want an awkward relationship with Talan, especially now that he worked for her. She was happy for him that he had already found a girl, and she wished the best of luck to him with her. But she would tell him that later and not mourn over the topic, not that she liked him. She began to walk up the hill with Dreamer. I didn't say anything. She said, hoping he would just drop the whole subject in general.

Alright. Talan said with a shrug, keeping his eyes on her as he asked her Do you want me to un-tack here, or is there a special place for all that shin-dig? He asked her curiously, not wanting to break any of her barn rules or what-not. [/blockquote]

Megan stopped and looked behind her. You can just follow me. We can go to the wash stalls. She said and then she continued walking until they arrived at the stalls. Megan grabbed Dreamer's halter she hung up earlier and then slid the bridle off his head. She attached the halter and the cross ties and hung the bridle on the cleaning rack like she had done with Chief's earlier. She then attended back to Dreamer, beginning to take off his tack.

Talan followed her to the wash stalls with Cisco right by his side. He lead Cisco into an empty wash stall, grabbed his halter that he had placed there earlier, took off Cisco's bridle and slid on the halter, resting it on the rack on his side of the stall and then watched Megan with a small laugh. You're real good with the horses. He said as a compliment. [/blockquote]

Megan hadn't talked to Talan since he entered the wash stall. But the time he got Cisco's bridle off and halter on she had already removed the girth and saddle from Dreamer's back. His back wasn't sweaty but she decided to brush him off anyways, just in case. She began to brush him and patted his neck before turning around towards Talan. Thanks. I've worked with them all my life so it's nothing new. She laughed a little and then walked around Dreamer to his other side, facing Talan and Cisco.

Talan smiled as he took all the tack off of Cisco and put it on the tack rack, where he had placed the bridle. Your whole life, huh? He asked, he hadn't stuck to one thing or one place for more than three years. His family was always forcing him to change, always moving. Talan shrugged the thought from his mind. What's it like to do something your whole life? He asked curiuosly as he grabbed the grooming bucket and began to brush off Cisco. [/blockquote]

Dreamer snorted and basically slimed Megan. All she could do was life and try her best to wipe it off, even though it was hopeless anyways. She nodded at his first comment and brushed off Dreamer's legs because of the dust from the trails. Then she grabbed the hoof pick, but before working them she answered Well it's something I love so I never get sick of it. She said, laughing when she ended. She picked up Dreamer's foot but of course he was stubborn and refused. She pinched his chestnut and immediately pull of his leg. She caught it and began to get some rocks and mud out of it.
