Leah walked into the park wearing a pink dress with her favorite pink heels. She loved to be a girly girl even tho she wasn't very much social because she was shy, she still loved to look good to other people to look at her. She smiled looking around herself and watching the beautiful nature around her. She was a nature lover and she was capable of doing anything to save it. She walked through the park until she reached her favorite place of all, it's besides an old oak three where she used to come as a child and play with her friend Johannah.
Johannah was her best friend that died a couple of years ago in a car crash, she missed her but she knew she was in a better place and that she was safe. She smiled as she got there and saw their initials on it, JB & LH, she put her hand on it "I miss you Johannah!" She said with her eyes closed remembering the last time they were in here.

With his hands stuffed in the pockets of his blue jeans, and his white t-shirt moving around in the wind, Talan walked up a trail and saw a girl standing next to a tree with her hand on it. Puzzled, he moved closer, hoping that he wouldn't disrupt anything if he introduced himself. He hadn't seen her in town before, but then again, he had barely seen anyone. He took cautionary slow steps towards her, and then finally spoke. You got a thing with that tree? He asked, trying to be a little funny and a little smart guy. [/blockquote]

Leah open her eyes looking to the one who was talking to her. As she saw it was a boy her stomach started to do flip flops, she was never good around boys she would always something to make her look bad. "Uhh.. No, it's just something me and a friend of mine did!" She said a stuttering a bit. She had never seen this boy before but she was a little shy so she didn't have much friends.

Talan smirked and pulled his hands out of his pockets. Sounds like a good time. He said, looking at her. She was pretty, a small town, simple pretty, and sometimes, those were the best. Her pink dress caught his eye as the wind lightly whipped it through the air. I'm Talan. He said, offering his hand to her.

Leah smiled "Yeah kind of!" She said shrugging her shoulders. She looked at him, she thought he was cute but she was too shy to ask him out or to have a coffee or something. She took his hand and shook it "I'm Leah!" She said as she shook it. She was trambeling but se didn't know why, it wasn't the wind because she wasn't cold, she figured it had to be something else.

Talan nodded. Nice name. He said with a smile before looking down to their still connected hands. You want me to just give it to you? He asked with sarcasm in his voice, trying to loosen things up and just have fun. [/blockquote]

Leah smiled "Thanks! Talan is a nice one too!" She said to him. Leah laughed and nodded "Yeah, i would like to because i love it so much!" She said. What? She thought as she realised what she had just said.

Talan laughed at her response. Well then, you're going to have to help me think of a way to give it to you. He said, winking at her. But, in the mean time, I'm going to need this back. He said, casually and hopefully un-awkwardly, pulling his hand out of hers. His hand was getting a little sweaty, he felt a little nervous, which was a little weird, because he wasn't nervous...

Leah smiled "You have to help me then because i don't know how!" She said to him. "Well you have it back!" She added as sitting on the floor and leaned over to te oak three. She was too nervous as she felt her stomach flip flopping faster now and harder now.

Talan smiled and sat down next to her. Well, you know, I could just cut it off and give it to you, but then that would mean that I was out of a hand and I don't know if that would be so much fun for you... He said with a smirk. and stretched out his legs, resting on his elbows and forearms.

Leah chuckled "Yeah that would be fun for me but not so much for you!" She said to him. What the hell am i saying? She thought to herself. She was mad at herself as she was only saying thiks she shouldn't. "You can keep your hand!" She said after chuckling.

Talan laughed a little. Well, thanks. That's very generous of you! If I think of a way for us both to share it then I'll let you know. He said scooting himself a little closer to Leah subconciouly and realizing what he was doing half-way through the motion, and hoped she wouldn't notice it. [/blockquote]

So... He began, but didn't really know how to continue, he wasn't being himself... Something was holding him back, maybe because... He didn't know... He looked down at the grass blowing in the wind and then looked back at Leah, hoping he wouldn't let the awkwardness show through his expression. [/blockquote]

Leah looked at him then back at her hands, she was too nervous to talk and didn't know what to say. She was always like thins around boys, she couldn't ever start a topic but she felt like she had to talk or say something so she just said the first thing it came on her mind "Do you have a girlfriend?" She asked, she hit herself on the head after as she realised what she had just asked. "Ouch!" She moaned as she rubbed her forehead.

Talan couldn't help but laugh, but he tried to hold it in. He brushed the hair out of her face, his fingers lingering for a little longer than needed. He realized this and pulled back his arm quickly. No. He said with confidence. What about you, got a girlfriend? He asked, hoping that the answer he heard would be the one that he wanted to hear. Leah closed her eyes with his touch and shook her head "No girlfriend or boyfriend!" She said to him as she open her eyes. She was shoked how he didn't had any girlfriends how could a cute guy like him wouldn't had any girlfriends.

Talan laughed at her reply. Sorry, I didn't mean to say girlfriends... I meant boyfriends... I mean, you don't seem like... ya... you're totally straight... I mean, that's a good thing, I mean... He said, stuttering, wow... This girl was making him do flips and turns, why was he so nervous? [/blockquote]

Leah laughed "I understood what you said anyway don't worry!" She said looking to the other way away from him so he couldn't see her face who was bright red. SHe out her hand on he heart and smiled as she felt him bump too fast, giving her the sign that she was starting to fall a bit for him.

Talan smiled. Okay, good. He said as he turned away from Leah and took a few deep breaths. What are you doing? He asked himself. Why can't I keep my cool around her? Is this what small town girls do to me? Because I don't think I can handle myself like this... He thought to himself as he turned back around to face Leah. [/blockquote]
